Damager: Full INT
-------> The soul of a Magician is to be the guy with awesome damage.
Full Potential: Full INT, DEX 30-40, Vit /Men 10 (optional)
-------> Of course if you are really "power hungry" you should at least get some DEX to land those Crits and benefit from Ma's passive skill, regen SP.
Putting VIT/MEN is optional if you want to survive longer since Ma's are quite soft in PVP's. We have to be careful not to be caught by any attacks or at least cast a heavy skill before they get near. Boom GG.
Vit increases Physical Def and HP, while Men increase Magic Def and SP.
It is quite unnecessary to invest on VIT/MEN since you have rings and armors to supplement your HP and DEF/MDEF but it will be up to you! I've only recommended on going for power build.
Most of Ma's attack as AoE splash dmg.

You can get +10 stats due to Passive/Guild Skill Upgrades
DEX 30+10 = 40 = 40HIT bonus +4 = 44% Chance of landing a Crit.
Make sure you increase your DEX first so you can benefit from it's Crit all the way.
I have read many forums and it is suggested that DEX40 Cap is the safest to take, more than that theoretically lowers the chance of landing a Crit.
Also, being a mage you should know which element is your opponent's weakness since elemental armors and weapons are applied.
Scud Soul
A: "Type that heightens magic power and makes the bullets duration time longer."
B: "Speed type that increases bullet speed giving it more force long rigor right after used."
C: "Shortened type consuming more SP but shortening charge time."
I only leveled this up to 5 to acquire other skills. I picked A. Charging it makes you vulnerable and to me this is a just for fun skill.
Fire Bullet
A: "Fire power type that releases a powerful blow when on pursuit."
B: "Spread type that moves in radially when in pursuit."
C: "Concentration type with multiple bullets fired overlapping when in pursuit."
It has no cooldown and you can practically spam it! I recommend picking A or C. I picked C for spamming purposes and still has a satisfying damage to it.
Ice Spear
A: "Far distance type that can attack more further enemies."
B: "Type creating highly pure ice and increasing fire power."
C: "Enhanced type that heightened distance and attack power. More consumed SP and cool time."
I picked C since it is the 'enhanced' dmg and distance.
Rock Mace (w/ Knockback)
A: "Type that lessens all chances of getting attacked but consumes more SP."
B: "Type that heightens attack power by consuming more SP."
C: "Type that makes a chance to attack by blowing the opponent off."
These descriptions aren't really informative. All of them has a knockback effect regardless the description. I picked B for the 'heigten" attack power.
Wind Dagger
A: "Wider attack range type that widens the attack range by concentrating wind in front."
B: "Fire power type that compresses wind and increases power."
C: "Saver type with holding consumed SP and decreasing cool time."
Ma's melee/Close combat skill, it has 3 strong slashes w/ 3sec cooldown. I picked B for the best dmg.
Light Bolt
A: "Expansion type that holds power and widens attack range."
B: "Fire power type focusing on ranges increasing fire power."
C: "Enhanced type that consumes more SP and widens the power and range."
An instant cast of electric AoE splash around yourself. I picked C for the 'enhanced' purpose.
Fast Spell (Self-Buff Skill)
"Shorten enchanting magic and speed up activating. Raises enchanting speed for a period of time."
This skill is VERY IMPORTANT. Use it before engaging any competitive combats.
Full Blaze
"Magic skill generating two flames and fires with great force."

This skill is a concentrated damage type fireball that shoots forward.
Water Pole
"Magic Skill that raises a water column in a cross direction."

An AoE splash skill that can instantly kill a same level opponent when caught in an area as it delivers great dmg.

"Magic Skill that creates and places a dense thunder ball."

Can be used as a trap AoE skill that you can leave behind after cast and roll away from opponents.
